About Garage Woodcrafts
Garagewoodcrafts was created in January of 2024.
An amateur's journey in (mostly) hand tool woodworking.
I am a suburban hobbyist in a typical home garage workshop environment transitioning from the occasional power tool woodworker to an more than occasional hand tool woodworker with knowledge grounded from Paul Sellers, Chris Schwarz, Wood by Wright, and other YouTube woodworkers.
Back in the day Norm was an inspiration and the I started to acquire power tools such as a cabinet table saw, miter saw, plunge router, bench top jointer, planer. I like my vehicles in the garage and couldn't keep up with the costs and accessories of the power tool world. So I'm slowing it down and trying to get more skills with a new focus on hand tools.
